Today was a great sunny day!!  We are a complete group now minus some luggage, but we are all together.  Today we visited a village called El Barranco where the children put on traditional dances and a program.  It was great!  We gave out donations and interacted with the people.  Following lunch we headed to the ziplines (some traveling Guatemala style)!  The team had a blast flying down 8 lines and making it safely to the bottom.  Tonight we go to dinner with the staff of Mayan Families and eat a traditional Guatemala meal (pizza for the kids!).  Tomorrow we'll start our work projects.

  12. WOW! The week is nearly over and I'm sure you all have completed many projects; but would like to stay and do even more.
We are all so proud of you and pray for your safe return.

Tara, Libby has enjoyed her vacation and may decide to stay at the lake to swim and play in the sand. I'll brig her to our house Sat nite and mom and JJ/Lance will deliver Sun afternoon.
    Love you all
